About this deal

Installation was very easy, if you can fit a normal stem then the only thing to think about are the elastomers, I’m 70kg so went for the blue/orange set up which was already fitted. The instructions are very clear, in fact pretty much idiot proof so long as you read them properly (RTFI) Read The Flippin Instructions. degree in 80, 90, 100, 110, and 120mm lengths (in both standard 1 1/8" steerer and oversized 1 1/4" steerer) Includes 5 swappable elastomers (2 pre-installed, 3 additional) to customise the ride feel for your bike, weight, and riding style. Come and see us! We're on the doorstep of Flyup417 Bike Park, Cranham Woods, Cotswolds Way and an hour away from the Forest of Dean.

The Bike Computer Mount is an integrated mount that is compatible with your Garmin, Powertap/CycleOps Joule, CatEye, Mio, or Magellan computer. If premature elastomer wear occurs we will happily provide replacements free of charge. In addition, we sell replacement elastomer kits. How do I mount my GPS computer? Scottish Highlands - AB36-38, AB55-56, FK17-21, IV1-39, IV52-54, IV63, KW1-14, PA21-40, PH19-26, PH30-41, PH49-50 Having your bike serviced? Upgrading? Have old parts taking up space in your garage? Donate your old bike parts to Access Bike. Here at Slam69 we have a collection point for any donations you may have. These guys are creative and innovative, even if parts are no longer fit for bikes, they will create something awesome! Not sure what size seatpost you have currently? There are a couple different ways to find out.• Most seatposts have the diameter printed somewhere near the bottom of the post. You'll need to remove the seatpost from the bike frame (mark your existing seatpost height with a bit of tape before you remove it so you can replace it easily), and look for a number like 27.2, 30.9, or 31.6 (etc.). That is the diameter of the post.Once you determine the length of your existing stem round to the nearest 10 mm and choose the closest match.

Well so far, it is still very new, over time there are only a couple of things to think about. 1) The bearings. I suppose ridden in the rain over years there is a potential to get water in the bearing, but I’d be surprised based on being high on the bike and hardly rotating. 2) the only other concern is the life of the elastomers but if these do wear out over time they are a doddle to change. The easiest way to determine your steerer tube size is to use a pair of calipers to directly measure the diameter or take your bike to the local bike shop and they will be able to measure it for you. The easiest way to determine your handlebar size is to see if it's printed on the handlebar. This will require removing your current stem faceplate. You can measure the length of your existing stem as shown in the following picture. The length is measured from the center of the handlebar to the center of the steerer tube. Some countries may incur VAT and Duty, please use a Duty Calculator and be prepared to pay these fees on arrival. The easiest way to determine your steerer tube size is to use a pair of calipers to directly measure the diameter or take your bike to the local bike shop and they will be able to measure it for you. Alternatively, most of the time a manufacturer will list this under their specifications in the Frame/Fork section. Make sure you are looking at the correct model year as these sizes can change year to year. After solving this unique problem for triathletes, they turned their attention to suspension and anti-vibration stems and seatposts. At the time of writing the seatpost is being crowdfunded, but the stem has been available for quite a few months, and we wanted to give you our low-down on the product.

mm is common on older road bikes with drop handlebars. - There are other less common sizes that we do not provide shims for. However, other handlebar shim sizes may be available at your local bike shop. Any bag that just attaches to the saddle or just attaches to the post is fine. But when you attach to both the post and the saddle you need to account for the relative motion of the saddle to the post. This means that if you cinch down the bag when off the bike it might have some movement when you get on the saddle and compress the post a bit - this might not be a problem but it might be something that is an issue. To understand more, Redshift Sports have answered critics in this post. Will the stem bounce or flex when I am climbing out of the saddle or sprinting? The Price Match discount and extra discounts, club savings or promo offers cannot be applied together, we can only offer one discount. So overall marks out of 10. Well I give the stem a really solid 9.5 out of 10. With only 0.5 mark lost for the boxy look with every other aspect full marks. You can measure the length of your existing stem by measuring the length from the center of the handlebar to the center of the steerer tube. The elastomers naturally dampen the feeling of the road or gravel, creating a smoother ride. The effective suspension travel is up to 20mm on a drop bar road bike and up to 10mm on a flat bar road bike. On top of offering our advice and guidance on the products listed that we personally use, know and have experience with, we understand pricing is a big part of making your decision too. I’ve covered 150 miles and about 15000 ft of climbing (as what goes up must come down, the same descent).
