The wireless touch keypad is compatible with the ERA Protect alarm system. The keypad can be installed inside a property and communicates wirelessly to the central smart hub. The only time this system is frustrating is if you’re trying to arm the alarm with the front door open, since this disables the front door sensor. ERA Protect combines the visual deterrents of an external siren with smart internal sensors that safeguard all rooms and entrance points. Moreover, all items use wireless technology to deliver optimal performance and cause minimal impact to your home’s aesthetic.Here, the keypad feels a bit like a relic from an older alarm system, and one that hasn’t quite been integrated into the system properly. The Supplier shall not be liable for the Goods' failure to comply with the warranty in Clause2.1 if: ERA offers guaranteed performance and reliability provided the product isfitted and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelinesand shall not be subject to stresses and operating forces beyondrecommended levels.In the unlikely event of a product failing as a result of defectivemanufacture or design, ERA will replace free of charge or credit anycomponent returned and deemed as not meeting its high exactingstandards. The credit shall not exceed the original value of the part. Thisguarantee applies to all products as detailed below, unless stated inexclusions. This guarantee does not apply to faults caused by wilful orneglectful damage or by excessive wear and tear. The guarantee as set outabove is the full extent of ERA’s liability in relation to the products listed.
Please note: One ERA Protect alarm hub system can support up 96 wireless accessories which can be a mixture of remotes, keypads, door/ window magnetic sensors, PIR's and wireless sirens. For those who wanted a smart alarm system in the UK, the best option was the Y-Cam Protect. However, Y-Cam was bought by ERA, with the alarm system maintained for new customers but not developed, since a new product was in the works. That product is ERA Protect. the Goods differ from the Goods Specification as a result of changes made to ensure they comply with applicable statutory or regulatory standards. Any delay in delivery or defect in an instalment shall not entitle the Customer to cancel any other instalment.
