When the balloon bursts, the craft falls at around 200mph for the first five minutes, before the parachute begins to slow the descent. By the time it lands, it’s moving at 5mph. Stunning imagery and video captured show the Golden Bear toy floating around 120 feet above the Earth.

Its journey was engineered as part of the Hey Duggee Space Week, and the mission will be presented by astrophysicist and comedian Dr Josie Peters. Hey Duggee is an animated educational preschool television series aimed at two to five year olds, and is narrated by Alexander Armstrong.
