The mirror scene in John Wick: Chapter 2 is a direct homage to Lee's iconic fight scene in Enter the Dragon. Just like the first film, the Russians figure prominently in the Wick comics, but it's not the Russians we're used to. Foregone Conclusion: Overlapping with Saved by Canon, we know that John and Charon, as well as any other movie characters, will make it out relatively unscathed since the series is a prequel to the first film. So this comic tells us part of John Wick's origin, mainly how he joined the Continental and became such a feared and respected hitman. As Mosca details his design process, it's no small feat to get Reeves to look like he's fighting as effortlessly as he does in the suits, making them almost their own characters in the Wickiverse.

However, even in the first film we do see that he has a merciful side, like when he spares the life of Russian bodyguard Francis. John walks into a diner in El Paso, Texas rocking a look similar to his Chapter 2 style, minus the fine suit.

I'm just so disappointed and annoyed right now, and feel I've already wasted enough of my mental energy on this.

Since Stahelski was one of Bruce Lee's students as well as a good friend of his son Brandon, Stahelski of course credits Lee's impact on him both personally and professionally. The comic series is a prequel to the original film from 2014, much like the tie in video game John Wick Hex. When I saw Greg Pak was writing a comic based on one of my favourite action films I'd thought I'd give it a read.However I would have loved it if Pak dived deeper into Wick's past; the developement of the story isn't great and it left me with more questions than answers. Frankly, the only thing notable about the series, are the cover art, which I have to say, are phenomenal. The implication here is that The Three Bills and Calamity were not the first criminals who young John tried to rip off.

The High Table has its ruling class around the world, and people like John Wick and his assassin colleagues the Adjudicator (Asia Kate Dillon), Aurelio ( John Leguizamo), and the Continental's concierge Charon (Lance Reddick) all serve those respective "lords.John wick quiere vengarse de lo que sucedió en su pasado y está desesperado por encontrar a quienes asesinaron a toda su gente. As the John Wick universe has revealed more of its secrets, we've learned that John had more than one hiding place for the gold coins, markers, and weapons underneath his house.
