About this deal

In both versions, old and new, tuberose performs exceptionally good and with the same strenght (no difference between EdT and EdP). I would love to have the exact date of when it was discontinued and when it came back, etc but haven’t been able to find it. Cellier packed her formula with Indian tuberose absolute, which gives it huge power and “sillage” (the olfactory trail). I was in Etoile looking for a more grownup perfume and discovered Fracas, we’ve been together ever since. When I first sprayed it on, it took me to those early times when I first started making my own scents and didn't know what in bloody hell I was doing.

It’s very much in fashion just now, but current fragrances don’t use such an incredible concentration of it.

I also had the same issue with Michael Kors signature fragrance, which is another big buttery floral I really wanted to love.

With unmistakable and unrivaled opulent tuberose and jasmine accords, this lush and creamy concoction clings to a woman’s skin and warms with her unique chemistry. I find this to be appropriate for both cold and warm weather, though I will be wearing this predominantly during the warmer months, you see turning into a living and breathing white flower under the scorching summer sun has been a dream of mine. And Cellier's scents have been especially vulnerable because she was a chemist by training and often used then-cutting-edge synthetic bases, which later on ceased to be produced. The florals are gorgeous, heady, sweet and only slightly indolic which if not tempered can date a good white floral. Spritz onto pulse points behind your ear, at the base of your neck, on your wrist, inside your elbow or behind your knee as desired. French perfume house, Robert Piquet, wanted to create a fragrance that represented Paris’ freedom and femininity. Whether you're seeking a signature scent for everyday wear or something unique and special, we're committed to offering high-quality options to suit your needs and budget. You have the perfect approach towards the masculine/feminine thing and about how it is really a fake construct that doesn’t or shouldn’t apply.

The perfumes that captivate you and the ingredients that brings them to life shape your olfactory profile. There were exciting and often turbulent things going on, new things to explore, and make-believe adventures to be had. I prefer it perhaps to Serge Lutens’ modern take on Tuberose (Tubereuse Criminelle, I did a review of it) but I’m not crazy about either one, truth be told. Fracas Piguet by Robert Piguet has achieved the status of a truly iconic perfume in the history of fragrance and it is known as the ultimate tuberose fragrance. I think it might not be to everyone's tastes because it reminds you either of Drakkar Noir (some guys don't like that one) and Aventus which is also quite unpopular at the moment.Intoxicating fragrance in Parisian style, known for its refined simplicity, and as an object of desire for women all over the world. The problem I really have is not that a scent is “feminine” per se, but that I don’t feel confident wearing it – which I think is an important element of any perfume. I think when people say they don’t like tuberose, this is the kind of interpretation that they mean. Dear Kafka, I just read your Jour Ensoleille review, which then led me here to this phenomenal and beautiful tribute to Fracas!
