The new 'Seasons' service – where you get XP for playing games and clearing various challenges and earn fun new rewards for hitting certain levels, like retro 16-bit footballs and the like – is nowhere to be found here. Still missing are some of FIFA 19’s additions, most notably among them being the first touch system that allows for the ball to be nudged in any direction with the right analogue stick. That’s it; no Volta mode nor any of the new gameplay features found in the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One version of the footy sim. I know Volta is not as over-the-top, flashy, trick-heavy as Street, but from what I've seen it looks quite enjoyable: not super arcade'y, but alot more 'straight-to-the-point' than regular Fifa. Besides “more money”, is there any reason EA could have offered a roster update and a fresh batch of new kits as an update (even a paid one) for last year’s version?

BarefootBowser I don't pretend to represent everyone and I have no doubt that there are subtle differences between the games but they clearly aren't making brand new games every year.So you can have a slightly customized experience of the same derivative game with little innovation? Unfortunately missing all of the additional features on the other console editions, hence why I’ve docked a star. In essence, it’s a stripped back version of FIFA 20 and indicative of its approach to the series on the Switch.

Everything is done very professionally with this company and always lets you know every step of the process.FIFA 20 on Switch is a hard game to recommend because it feels like such a poor version of the beautiful game. Dribbling is dumbed down, and the timed finishing and improved first touch systems of the last two mainline iterations remains absent.
